Karina Marusińska

Karina Marusinska (born 1983) is a graduate from Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw, Faculty of Ceramics Design (2003-2008). She had studied under scholarship programmes at Pais Vasco University in Bilbao, Spain (2007) and at the Institute of Ceramics in Guebwiller, France (2008). She graduaded from postgraduated Studies in Design Management, Warsaw, Poland (2009-2010) and International Post-Graduate Course 'Kaolin' Art and Design in Contemporary Ceramics, ENSA Limoges, France, Jingdezhen, China (2013-2014).
She is currently working as an assistant lecturer at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design, Faculty of Ceramics and Glass, 2nd Studio of Functional Ceramics Design, diploma - awarding (since 2010). Doctoral student, Faculty of Ceramics and Glass (since 2012).

Interdisciplinary artist, didactic coordinator, cultural animator, originator of social initiatives.

A member of design group Wzorowo. 

Karina's work balances between art and design, however including other disciplines of art such as sculpture, performance, installation, video, photography or site-specific realization. She also experiments within framework of interdisciplinary projects.
