Age restrictions

We only sell items to adults, by placing an order with us you confirm you are of legal age.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order within 7 days from the time you placed your order in writing by emailing info@manufacturedculture.com. Please quote your full name, delivery address and order reference number. If your goods have been dispatched, please follow our returns and exchange policy. 

Any items made to your specifications cannot be returned or exchanged after 7 days from the date of your order. Please refer to Returns and Exchange policy for more details, or if in doubt please contact us before purchasing. 

Delivery policy

This policy contains details of the delivery methods, periods and charges that apply to orders for our products made through our website. This policy is a legally binding document, and forms part of the contract of sale between you and us made under our terms and conditions ofsale. 

 UK delivery

 We offer a standard delivery to all mainland UK addresses on small and medium parcels. Applicable delivery charges will depend upon the delivery method you select, the location of the delivery address, and the size and weight of the products in your order. Delivery charges will be calculated by our website and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process, or alternatively quoted by us. 

         The costs are as follows:

         - small and medium parcels: £5.95, £10 and £15.

         - medium parcels (5 to 30 kg) £20 to £40.

Furniture delivery in London and home counties start at £60, starting price for the rest of the UK is £120, price depends on the order size and delivery complexity. If you have any specific delivery questions or requirements, please contact us before purchasing in order to obtain a comprehensive quote. 

We will deliver to the address given to us at the time of placing the order. We deliver Monday to Friday, Saturday delivery can be arranged at extra cost. Where possible we will provide a delivery slot and/or tracking number. All deliveries must be received in person at the delivery address, and a signature must be provided. For all large furniture our delivery service provider will notify you in advance of attempting to make a delivery requiring signature.  It is also possible to collect your goods from out warehouse in Battersea, London. Please contact us for more information or select collection option at the checkout. 

International deliveries

We regret we can only despatch small items for international delivery through our online store. The prices are as follows:

- European parcels up to 10kg £30

- Rest of the world, parcels up to 5kg £40.

Overseas orders may be subject to import duties and taxes. We have no control over customs charges, such charges are the responsibility of the buyer. 

Delivery problems

An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:

(a)you provided the wrong address for delivery;

(b)there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;

(c)the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible or safe to access

(d)if in-person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address to accept delivery and provide a signature.

If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault (and you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the relevant time limit), we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products; however, we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even where the initial delivery was free of charge).

Returns and exchange 

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us. We have created this policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances. This policy applies to all of our customers (irrespective of their geographical location) and  to all orders submitted through our website.

This document does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer (such as rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000).

Returns procedure

In order to take advantage of your rights under this policy and return or exchange a standard product, you must contact us by email within 72 hours of receiving your order. You must return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. All items must be returned in perfect condition and in the original packaging with any product tags still attached. The cost of returning unwanted goods is your responsibility. 

Returns and exchanges will be processed immediately after receiving your unwanted goods. 

Exclusions Please note that all special orders, bespoke furniture, flat-packed items that have been assembled are non returnable unless faulty. This includes all items with a long leadtime manufactured and/or imported specifically for the customer. All stock items are returnable. This is in accordance with clause 13 of the Customer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If in doubt, please contact us at info@manufacturedculture.com before purchasing. 

Refunds

We will give you a refund for the price you paid to us in respect of any product properly returned by you in accordance with this policy. We regret that postage, packing and insurance incurred in the delivery of the goods are direct costs to us and cannot be refunded unless in the case of cancellations. 

Improper returns

We will not accept a product with any indication that it was used. If you return a product in contravention of this policy, and you do not have any other legal right to a refund or exchange in respect of that product: 

  (a)we will not refund the purchase price or exchange the product;

  (b)we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product.
